![]() Aqueduct Racetrack is the perfect location to watch and wager on the 2009 Breeders’ Cup World Championships from Santa Anita on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7. Aqueduct features free admission and free general parking for the entirety of the race meet. On Breeders’ Cup Friday and Saturday, gates will open at the normal 11 a.m. with post time for Aqueduct’s first live race at 12:30 p.m. both days. Friday’s eight-race program is scheduled to conclude at 3:48 p.m. while Saturday’s live card will wrap up at 4:03 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, Aqueduct will remain open for simulcasting through approximately 7:30 p.m., the scheduled conclusion of the Santa Anita live racing program. Friday’s first post time at Santa Anita is 2:15 p.m. EST with the first Breeders’ Cup race scheduled for 3:35 p.m. EST. Saturday’s first post at Santa Anita is 1:05 p.m. EST with the first Breeders’ Cup race going off at 1:45 p.m. EST. Both Friday’s Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic and Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup Classic have scheduled post times of 6:45 p.m. EST. On Friday, there will be a special Daily Double available that comprises the Ladies’ Classic and the Classic. While the world’s best horses will be at Santa Anita competing in the Breeders’ Cup, many of the stars of tomorrow will take to Aqueduct’s main track Saturday, November 7. The Grade 2 Nashua and Grade 3 Tempted for 2-year-old colts and fillies, respectively, highlight a stakes-packed program that also features the Grade 2 Red Smith for 3-year-olds and up going 1-3/8 miles on the turf. For those fans who want to wager early, Aqueduct will offer advance wagering for Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup races on Friday, November 6. The advance wagering will be available on-track and via NYRA Rewards phone wagering.
