The New York Stallion Stakes:
New York Stallion Stakes Series runners can - and do - come from anywhere. But each of them must meet certain specified requirements in order to run in the series.

The Stallion nomination fee for Series 2010 (foals of 2008) is $2,500.00 or the advertised stud fee which ever is higher. Fify percent of the nomination fee is due February 15, 2007, with the remaining fity percent due July 1, 2007.

To remain eligible, a stallion must be renominated every year. When the nomination fee is paid each year, all foals conceived in that breeding season are eligible for nomination to the New York Stallion Stakes Series.
