OZONE PARK, N.Y. - There were only two winning favorites in the Pick 6 sequence on Sunday at Aqueduct Racetrack, triggering a two-day carryover of $93,867.02 that will have a mandatory payout of the entire pool on New Year's Eve, the final racing day of 2013.
Following Monday's dark day, Tuesday's Pick 6 begins with race 4, with an approximate post time of 1:47 p.m. All six races in the sequence have at least eight betting interests in the body of the field (before scratches).
Sunday's Pick 6 began with Go West Marie ($25.20) and continued with Photon ($10) before back-to-back favorites El Oh El ($5) and Rodina ($6.20) took races 6 and 7. After Modern Child ($38.20) took race 8, only Amber Coast, the No. 7 horse, was covered heading into the ninth and final race, won by Silver Day ($17.60).
Those who wish to play the Pick 6 can place their bets at Aqueduct, the Belmont Café, or through NYRA Rewards, which offers Internet, On-Track, Phone, and Mobile wagering.
