First-ever jockey health insurance plan to be administered by NYRA

Facilitating new access to affordable health insurance coverage, the New York Racing Association today announced a formal agreement with the Jockeys' Guild which extends formal health care coverage to New York State Thoroughbred jockeys. Approved by the New York State Gaming Commission, the New York Racing Association will administer the new program which will debut in late November.
