Following the conclusion of the first race at Aqueduct Racetrack, The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) canceled live racing for the remainder of today, Saturday, January 11, due to poor visibility.

Saturday's Daily Double combining races 1 and 2 paid $21.40 for $2 for 5-ALL. The Pick 3 that began in Race 1 paid $19.60 for $2 for 5-ALL-ALL.

All Pick 5 wagers were refunded. According to New York State Gaming Commission rules, "All Pick 5 wagers ... shall be refunded if at least three contests included as part of the Pick 5 are canceled or declared 'no contest.'"

Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will remain open for simulcasting and Telebet and Internet wagering will be available through NYRA Rewards.

Live racing is expected to resume as scheduled on Sunday, January 12, with the featured $100,000 Ruthless for 3-year-old fillies. First race post time is 12:25 p.m.
