Distance of 5 ½ furlongs prior to 1936, 5 ¾ furlongs 1936-42, six furlongs 1943-47, 1 1/16 miles 1948-53, seven furlongs 1958-59, and one mile 1963-74.
In 1998, Tutorial finished first, but was disqualified and placed fifth.
