One of The New York Racing Association, Inc.’s (NYRA) most popular promotions returns to Aqueduct Racetrack on Friday, January 1 as a new year is ushered in with the 2010 NYRA Calendar.

Home to more than 30 beautifully vivid, colorful and inspired photos taken by NYRA track photographer Adam Coglianese, the calendar features the best horses and jockeys from the New York circuit in 2009.

Among the highlights are Rachel Alexandra’s historic victory over older male rivals in the Woodward at Saratoga Race Course and Summer Bird’s dominant Belmont Stakes triumph.

Fans can obtain their 2010 calendars on the south end of the first floor of the Aqueduct Clubhouse. Calendars are available for $2, or by redeeming the coupon located in the Friday edition of NYRA’s Post Parade Magazine or Pocket Program. No calendar coupons will be available in either the Daily Racing Form or the Daily Racing Program.

There is a six calendar limit per person.

The Calendar Coupon Redemption Area will open at 11 a.m. and remain open until post time for Friday’s final race. As always at Aqueduct, general parking and admission are free.
