For this month's podcast we were lucky to catch up with Doris Glier, affectionately known as "Nurse Doris" at Aqueduct, Belmont Park, and Saratoga. Nurse Doris, 84, has been working at the NYRA tracks for 50 years! She is one of the most popular figures at the track, and does a terrific job of taking care of jockeys, trainers, horsemen, employees, patrons, and anyone else that might be in need of medical assistance. We talked with her about how she got started at the track, some of the things that she enjoys the most about her job, and numerous other topics.
