GBI Racing: Jump racing takes center stage on Saturday as British Flat season winds to a close.

Newmarket signs off for the year with three Listed races on Saturday. The Ben Marshall Stakes (9:05 am EDT; race 3) has attracted an interesting field of nine, including Godolphin’s pair of Secrecy and Ecliptic.

The "Frankel Connection" of Juddmonte owner Prince Khalid Abdulla, jockey Tom Queally and trainer Sir Henry Cecil are represented by Jet Away in the James Seymour Stakes (11:25 am; race 7), while there are some possible future Classic fillies on show in the two-year-old Montrose Fillies’ Stakes (10:55 am; race 6).

With the Flat season winding down, jump racing is starting to take the spotlight in Britain and Ireland. Wetherby hosts one of the major early-season races on Saturday, where last year's winner Nacarat features among a fascinating list of 14 pre-entries for the $160,000 Charlie Hall Chase, due off at 10:20 am (race 4).

Jockey Sam Thomas has said he would not swap Nacarat for any other horse in the Grade 2 steeplechase over three miles and one furlong.

Nacarat certainly will not have things all his own way, with Hennessy Gold Cup hero Diamond Harry in the reckoning, while champion jumps trainer Paul Nicholls has entered Neptune Collonges and Poquelin.

Ascot starts its 2011-12 jump racing program with a seven-race card at 8.55 am. The feature is the Grade 3 United Homes Gold Cup Handicap Chase over three miles at 10:40 am (race 4).

NYRA Rewards account wagering customers may watch and wager on British and Irish cards on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 am. Live video streaming is available free of charge on www.NYRARewards.com.

All wagers are commingled into the on-track pools at such top class UK venues as Ascot, Cheltenham, Doncaster, Goodwood, Newmarket and Leopardstown in Ireland.
