On Saturday, October 25, reigning Horse of the Year Curlin will not be the only one going for a repeat performance in the Breeders' Cup. That afternoon at Belmont Park, more than 300 valued customers will be the guests of the New York Racing Association in the second annual NYRA Rewards Breeders' Cup Party.

Exclusive to NYRA Rewards members who earned a minimum of 2,500 points during the month of September, the lavish party will be held at Belmont Park's beautiful North Shore Terrace and feature an elaborate international lunch buffet including hand-carved beef, salmon, shrimp tempura, mussels, Asian tapas and a Venetian dessert table. After 4 p.m., hors d'oeuvres will be served and all afternoon guests can partake of Woodford Reserve bourbon sampling, hand-rolled fine cigars, a full-service open bar, and demonstrations of the new NYRA Rewards Mobile Wagering Service.

All guests receive free admission and parking, as well as a free official Post Parade program, Daily Racing Form, and gift bag with souvenir items.

"We received an overwhelmingly positive response from our NYRA Rewards members last year, so it was a natural decision to organize the second annual Breeders' Cup Party," said Neema Ghazi, NYRA's Director of Marketing.

Members of NYRA Rewards enjoy a premium account wagering service with the opportunity to earn cash back. Members are credited with one point for every dollar wagered on a live race at Belmont Park, Aqueduct, and Saratoga Race Courses and a half-point for every dollar wagered on a simulcast race within a calendar month.

Wagers can be placed on track via self-service wagering terminals, on the phone, online through NYRA Rewards Internet Wagering or over a mobile device. Membership in NYRA Rewards is free and with Express Funding, members making check deposits receive immediate credit to their accounts without being charged a transaction fee.

"Without horseplayers, NYRA would not exist," said Ghazi. "The Breeders' Cup Party is a way to thank those fans and offer them a unique experience. It's going to be an interesting day of racing and a memorable Belmont event for our core fans."

Along with the simulcast of seven Breeders' Cup races from Santa Anita on Saturday, highlighted by Curlin's defense of his Breeders' Cup Classic title, Belmont Park features seven live races including a pair of Grade 3 events in the Sport Page and Knickerbocker Handicaps.

Live racing begins at 1 p.m., with first race post time from Oak Tree at Santa Anita set for 1:10 p.m.
