When Aqueduct opens on Wednesday, October 29 for its 39-day 2008 fall season, fans will find several pricing changes in effect.

Aqueduct clubhouse admission will be free, a savings of $1.00. The free policy will extend to the popular Skyline Club level, which formerly cost an additional $1.00 or a total of $2.00 to enter. General parking will also be free, while the $5.00 fee for both clubhouse parking and valet parking represents no net change over last season.

Reflecting the rise in the cost of paper in particular, the price of NYRA’s printed programs will rise by fifty cents, with the Post Parade program selling for $3.50 and the Pocket Program going for $2.50.

Also on opening day, Aqueduct’s first race post reverts to 12:30. p.m. Exceptions to that post time come during Aqueduct’s Thanksgiving weekend HolidayFest, with an 11:25 a.m. post on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27 and a 12:25 p.m. post on Friday, November 28 and also on Saturday, November 29, when Aqueduct stages its signature fall event of the fall season, a graded stakes tripleheader featuring the Demoiselle (G2), Remsen (G2) and the Grade 1, $300,000 Hill ‘n’ Dale Cigar Mile.
