Tim Ice burst onto the training scene this year with his grand 3-year-old chestnut colt Summer Bird. Despite debuting in March, Summer Bird's professional demeanor and boundless stamina allowed him to quickly ascend to the top of his division, with dominating wins in the Belmont Stakes and the Shadwell Travers. Tim, who is 35-years-old, has carried himself with class through the Triple Crown and summer racing seasons, and should be a top trainer for many years to come.
