HEISMAN (2yo bay colt), by Distorted Humor, is a full-brother to the 2007 Grade 1 Haskell Invitational hero and Grade 1 Wood Memorial third-place finisher Any Given Saturday, who earned nearly $1.1 million in his career, and to Grade 3 Cicada winner Bohemian Lady. Their dam Weekend in Indy, meanwhile, is half-sister to Second of June, winner of the Grade 3 Holy Bull and third in the Grade 1 Woodward.

ROCK HARD NICKY (2yo bay colt) is out of Ioya Forever, a half-sister to two graded stakes winners on the turf: Ioya Two, who won the Grade 3 Modesty and earned $460,851; and Mystery Giver, who took the Grade 2 Mervin H. Muniz Jr. Memorial Handicap and banked over $1.2 million. Rock Hard Nicky is a homebred by Rock Hard Ten.

ORSONIAN (2yo chestnut colt) is a half-brother to Wild Speed and Amazing Speed, who both won multiple listed or minor stakes in Florida. By Officer, Orsonian was a $40,000 Keeneland November weanling who developed into a $230,000 Keeneland September yearling.

BROCK (2yo chestnut colt), by Distorted Humor, topped this year’s Fasig-Tipton Calder Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training sale when he was acquired for $2.3 million after breezing a furlong in 10 3/5 seconds (video). The bay is out of Tomisue’s Delight, heroine of the Grade 1 Ruffian and Grade 1 Personal Ensign and a full-sister to the 2003 Horse of the Year and Champion Older Horse Mineshaft. As a broodmare Tomisue’s Delight produced last year’s Grade 1 Maker’s Mark Mile winner Mr. Sidney and three-time stakes-placed runner Save Big Money.

FAIR WHIT (2yo dark bay or brown colt) brought the second highest price at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Selected Yearlings sale when he sold for $400,000, best among colts. By Birdstone, Fair Whit is a half-brother to Por Que, who has placed in three stakes and earned $128,499 to date.

ELTEEHB (2yo dark bay or brown colt) is a homebred from the first crop of Bernardini and is the first foal out of El Raabi, who sold for $500,000 as a yearling and won one race in her career. El Raabi is a full-sister to overnight stakes winner Populist and a half-sister to Saratoga Springs, who won the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy in England as a juvenile.
