McLaughlin, one of Thoroughbred racing’s more accomplished young trainers, has already managed a Horse of the Year [Invasor, 2006] and won the Belmont Stakes that year with Jazil. He also trained 2007 turf champion Lahudood and Grade 1 winners Alwajeeha, Daaher, Henny Hughes and Flashy Bull.

Career Highlights:

2008: Won his first training title with 22 winners at Saratoga Race Course, edging close friend Todd Pletcher.
2007: Trained Lahudood to the Eclipse Award as top Turf Female.
2006: Enjoyed a banner year, campaigning Invasor to Horse of the Year honors and winning the Belmont Stakes with Jazil.
Leading trainer at Nad al Sheba Race Course in Dubai three times: 1994-95, 1995-96 and 2002-2003.
