Quickfire has two other foals of racing age, both winners in England, including stakes-placed runner Ultrasonic. Fire Guard’s second dam, Daring Miss, was a Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed in France.

ELECTROMAGNETIC (2yo bay colt, Henrythenavigator—Wind in My Wings, by Sligo Bay) is the first foal out of his dam, winner of the Jessamine on turf at Keeneland as a 2-year-old. Wind in My Wings is also out of a stakes winner, being a daughter of a mare who won a minor stakes going long on dirt at Fort Erie.

TOWN HALL (2yo bay colt, Indygo Shiner—Susan’s Angel, by Cape Town) is a son of a mare who won the Grade 3 Turfway Breeders’ Cup. Susan’s Angel never tried the turf in 14 career starts. Two of Susan’s Angel’s seven siblings to race won, none on turf. Her best sibling was Adorable Jane, who took a non-black-type stakes at Delaware Park and was second in a minor stakes at Monmouth Park. Town Hall, Susan’s Angel’s fourth foal, looks to become his dam’s first winner. He was the second most expensive of 45 yearlings by his sire to sell at public auction in 2011.

Indy) is out of a placed daughter of Advancing Star, who won a pair of Grade 3 turf sprints and won the Grade 3 Rancho Bernardo Handicap and earned Grade 1 placings in the Hollywood Starlet and Santa Monica Handicap on dirt. Stars Indy Skies’ lone foal to race, Storm Crossed, broke his maiden on Arlington Park’s artificial main track and has won twice on dirt at Fairmount Park.

Their dam has produced three total foals to race and one other winner, Pat’s Kitten, who has won a maiden claimer on dirt and a conditioned claimer on turf.

Forty Greeta later produced sprinter Fort Hughes, who won the Jimmy Winkfield during his abbreviated career.

NEW LINE (2yo dark bay/brown colt, First Defence—Introducing, by Deputy Minister) is out of a winning half-sister to turf runners Midships, who took the Grade 1 Charles Whittingham Memorial Handicap, and Principal Role, who won four listed stakes and was Group 3-placed in England and this spring at Belmont was third in the Grade 3 Beaugay and Grade 3 Sheepshead Bay. One of Introducing’s three previous foals to race has won. That runner, Short Supply, won three races in England.

NORTH SLOPE (2yo bay colt, Elusive Quality—Jinni, by A.P. Indy), out of a mare who was third in the Calder Oaks, is a grandson of Ajina, who annexed the Grade 2 Demoiselle and Grade 3 Tempted as a 2-year-old and was named Champion Three-Year-Old Filly after capturing the Grade 1 Mother Goose, Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks, and Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Distaff. Ajina also purchased Stymie Handicap winner Manchurian. Jinni has produced one other foal, two-time winner Next Page.

ROSSWEISSE (2yo chestnut filly, Majestic Warrior—Rough Water, by Stormin Fever) is out of the 1991 Grade 3 Arlington Oaks winner, Grade 1 Alabama runner-up, and Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks third-place finisher. At 2, Rough Water was third in the Grade 3 Golden Rod. Six of her 10 foals to race are winners, including Scoop, heroine of the Grade 3 Indiana Oaks. Scoop later produced Coolwind, who won two minor stakes and placed in a pair of Grade 3 events. Kings Lynn, a stakes-placed half-sister to Rossweisse, produced Sara Louise, who defeated Rachel Alexandra in the Grade 3 Pocahontas as a juvenile and captured the Grade 2 Top Flight Handicap and Grade 3 Victory Ride as a sophomore, and Just Louise, who took the Grade 3 Debutante at Churchill Downs for 2-year-old fillies.

She was fifth of seven in the Grade 2 Spinaway, her career finale. Her only other named foal, No La Hace, has four wins in five starts, all in claiming races. Stonestreet Stables purchased Effectual for $475,000 when she was pregnant with Teen Pauline.

CITIZEN EMMA (2yo bay filly, Proud Citizen—Kamaal, by Irgun) is out of a mare who won only once in 10 lifetime starts but ran third in a turf stakes at Meadowlands as a 2-year-old. Of Kamaal’s five foals to race, three are winners, including Cave’s Valley, who won his first three starts as a 2-year-old, including Delaware’s Whirling Ash Stakes and Dover Stakes. Three years after producing Cave’s Valley, Kamaal gave birth to Getaway Guy, who won on debut at age 2 and would win four of his eight lifetime starts, including an allowance race on the turf and the Tom Ridge Stakes at Presque Isle Downs in the final start of his career.

AVENTURINE (2yo bay filly, Big Brown—Julie Truly, by Miner’s Mark) is out of a half-sister to multiple Grade 3 winner Truly a Judge, who earned $764,342 over 53 lifetime starts. His biggest achievements came at ages 6 and 7, when he won the Grade 3 Native Diver Handicap and Grade 3 San Gabriel Handicap in back-to-back starts. Though neither Julie Truly nor Truly a Judge won on turf, their dam Truly Needy produced two turf winners from her eight foals to race. However, only one of those eight foals to race won at age two. Julie Truly has one other foal, a filly by Bluegrass Cat named True Blue Julie who is 1-for-9 lifetime.

Two of Ing Ing’s five foals of racing age have made it to the starting gate, and they have combined to win one race in 27 starts.

WELL LAWYERED (2yo bay colt, Lawyer Ron—Cat Dancer, by Storm Cat) is a full-brother to Drill, victorious in last year’s Grade 1 Del Mar Derby on Polytrack and in this year’s Grade 2 San Vicente on dirt. Drill broke his maiden by a neck in his second start. Cat Dancer, who won a maiden special weight at Monmouth Park at 3, sold for $1.4 million in foal to Strong Contender in the 2011 Fasig-Tipton November sale. She is a full-sister to Magic Storm, who was third in the Grade 2 Adirondack and Grade 1 Spinaway as a juvenile before going on to win the Grade 2 Monmouth Oaks as a sophomore. Well Lawyered was the most expensive of 23 weanlings by Lawyer Ron to sell at auction in 2010, then was the most expensive of 28 yearlings by his sire in 2011.
