Forbes’ Firsters is a series that takes a glance at the pedigrees and sales histories of select 2-year-olds who are making their debuts in maiden special weight races at Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park, or Saratoga Race Course. ROBERTO GATO (chestnut colt, Zensational—Cat News, by Storm Cat) is a half-brother to Publication, who won the Grade 2 Arlington-Washington Futurity as a 2-year-old and placed in five graded stakes, including the Grade 1 Triple Bend Handicap, between the ages of 4 and 8. All six foals out of Cat News to race have won.
