Rodrigo Ubillo, winning trainer of Bigger Is Bettor (No. 4): "Last year he wasn't able to run here because he got into an accident at Belmont Park. I was confident he could go the distance, and he likes it here. Since Day One, when he came here, he was very happy."

"He [jockey Joe Rocco, Jr.] really listened to me. It's a big key. I gallop the horse in the morning, and he likes to fight with the jock. He's hard to make switch leads. In the morning, I give him his head, and he loves it. No problem. In the afternoon when the jocks start getting into him, he likes to fight. This kid today did perfect."

Joe Rocco, Jr., winning jockey aboard Bigger Is Bettor (No. 4): "It worked out pretty good. The two horses I thought had speed went out in front of me, and I was able to get over to the rail. The only hairy part, more or less, was when the No. 2 horse [Awesome Vision] came up outside of me, and I kind of had to fight for my position, but the horse had no problem being in tight down inside. When they came off the fence turning for home, we had a clear path and he kicked in for me.

"Once he switched leads, he gave me a pretty good kick. From the sixteenth pole home, I thought we were good. He's a real big, handsome horse and fun to ride. It's always fun when you're standing in the winner's circle."

"It's my first stakes win [at Saratoga], yes. It feels good, absolutely. You always feel good in the winner's circle."

Irad Ortiz, Jr., rider aboard runner-up Awesome Vision (No. 2): "With the strong pace, they came back, and my horse came running, but the winner beat me on the inside."

Rick Schosberg, trainer of third-place finisher and beaten favorite Readthebyline (No. 3): "He ran great. I thought he might bounce off his last race."
