Hundreds Of Fans Enjoy “Free Beer And Hot Wings” From Saratoga

The nationally syndicated radio show “Free Beer and Hot Wings” took their morning antics trackside today with a live broadcast from Saratoga Race Course on the eve of the 143rd running of the Grade 1, $1 million Travers.

Hundreds of fans turned out to catch the broadcast which features hosts Gregg “Free Beer” Daniels, Chris “Hot Wings” Michaels, Eric Zane, and “Producer Joe”.

Based at WGRD-FM in Grand Rapids, MI, the syndicated show is heard on radio stations in 15 states throughout the Midwest and East Coast. The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show is broadcast locally on Capital Region rock station Q 103 FM, a member of Townsquare Media of Albany.

On Saturday, August 25, the gates of Saratoga Race Course will open at 7 a.m. for the 143rd running of the Grade 1, $1 million Travers as the sport’s top 3-year-olds clash in one of the most historic stakes races in North America at the classic distance of a mile and a quarter. The Travers Day undercard will include the Grade 1 Foxwoods King’s Bishop; the Grade 1 Test; and the Grade 2 Ballston Spa presented by Jose Cuervo. First post time is 11:35 a.m.
