Attendance, on-track handle and total all-sources handle continue to top 2006 figures through Week 4 of racing at Saratoga Race Course. Attendance is up 6.2 percent, on-track handle rose 8.1 percent, and total all-sources handle increased 6.8 percent over 2006 figures. Total attendance through Week 4 of the 2007 meet is 679,014, up from 638,401 in 2006. On-track handle increased to $88,763,928, from $82,135,735 in 2006. Total all-sources handle rose to $372,263,607 from $348,447,125 in 2006. Through Week 4 there have been 228 races run at Saratoga, compared to 219 in 2006 (when one racing day was canceled because of extreme heat). Betting interests are up to 1,965 from 1,834 in 2006.
