There will be a single-day Pick 6 carryover of $10,087 greeting bettors on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack.
Friday’s action at the Big A saw Breezy Gal ($8.60) start the sequence in Race 4, followed by Morning Buzz earning $13 on a $2 win wager in Race 5. Jockey Rafael Hernandez piloted Prophet’s Cat, off at 38-1, to the day’s largest upset, paying $78.50 in Race 6.
Big Thicket ($9.70), Jewel Can Disco ($5.50) and Zenato ($20.20) rounded out the card.
The consolation payout for four out of six winners was $176.50
Live racing is scheduled to resume Saturday with a post time of 12:50 p.m. The Pick 6 sequence starts with Race 5 at approximately 3:01 p.m. and will include four stakes, including the Grade 3, $200,000 Tom Fool in Race 9 and the Grade 3, $300,000 Gotham in the finale.
The Gotham, part of the Kentucky Derby Championship Series, offers 50-20-10-5 qualifying points for the “Run for the Roses” to the top four finishers.
Saturday's program will be anchored by live coverage of the Gotham on FOX Sports Saturday At The Races, airing from 4-6:30 p.m. (ET) on FOX Sports 2 (FS2), and will also show the Grade 2, $400,000 San Felipe at Santa Anita, which is also part of the Kentucky Derby Championship Series.
