For a second straight day, the Pick 6 went unsolved at Aqueduct Racetrack, triggering a double carryover of $48,239.50 heading into Sunday's nine-race card at the Big A.
Saturday's Pick 6 sequence started with Tiz Super ($8.90) in Race 4 and jockey Angel Arroyo piloting Valyrian ($9.80) to victory in Race 5. Back-to-back winners at big prices in the next two races helped to facilitate the double carryover, with Battle of Evermore ($17) in Race 6 and Forever Daisy ($18.20) earning a trip to the winner's circle in Race 7.
Flash Drive paid $7 on a $2 win wager in Race 8 and Tough Old Bird ($5.10) capped the day's action by winning a six-furlong sprint in the finale.
The consolation payout for five out of six winners was $1,728.
Live racing is scheduled to resume Sunday with a post time of 12:50 p.m. The Pick 6 sequence starts with Race 4 at approximately 2:21 p.m.
Wagering on the Pick 6 is available through NYRA Bets, on-track, and at simulcast facilities across the country.
