America's Day at the Races returns to FS2 on Saturday, February 8

Inaugural show of 2020 to feature G3 Sam F. Davis, Jimmy Winkfield

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced the return of America's Day at the Races, presented by America's Best Racing, Runhappy and Claiborne Farm, the highly-acclaimed live racing television program providing nationwide coverage of the best thoroughbred racing from marquee venues around the country.

Airing on FS2, and produced by NYRA, the telecasts begin on February 8 with a 3 1/2-hour show from 3 - 6:30 p.m. Eastern, providing live coverage of stakes action across the country from Aqueduct Racetrack, Oaklawn Park, Santa Anita Park and four stakes from Tampa Bay Downs, including the Grade 3, $250,000 Sam F. Davis, a Kentucky Derby qualifying race offering 10-4-2-1 points to the top-four finishers. Undercard races from Tampa Bay Downs will include the Grade 3, $175,000 Tampa Bay, Grade 3, $175,000 Endeavour, and the $150,000 Suncoast offering 10-4-2-1 Kentucky Oaks qualifying points.

Also featured on the blockbuster February 8 show is the $100,000 Jimmy Winkfield for sophomores from the Big A; the $125,000 King Cotton from Oaklawn Park for older sprinters; and the Grade 2, $200,000 Las Virgenes for sophomore fillies at Santa Anita offering 10-2-4-1 Kentucky Oaks qualifying points.

Following the February 8 edition, America's Day at the Races will air on most Saturdays throughout February and March with a special Presidents' Day edition on February 17 prior to coverage expanding to weekdays in the spring.

America's Day at the Races is hosted by Greg Wolf with a broadcast team of handicappers and racing analysts that includes Andy Serling, Maggie Wolfendale, Gary Stevens, Richard Migliore, Paul LoDuca, Jonathon Kinchen, Acacia Courtney, Laffit Pincay III, Tom Amoss, Nancy Holthus, Michelle Yu and Millie Ball.

America's Day at the Races will offer live broadcast of key Kentucky Derby points races on FS2 featuring in-depth coverage and analysis of key Triple Crown preps such as the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth, Grade 2 Risen Star, Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby, Grade 3 Southwest, Grade 3 Gotham, and the El Camino Real Derby.
