The Pick 6 sequence went unsolved for a second straight day Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack, resulting in a double carryover of $50,898 heading into Sunday's card.
Saturday's Pick 6 sequence began in Race 4 with post-time favorite Le General (No. 9, $2.90) winning the opening leg, followed by favorite Electric Forest (No. 2, $3.80) in Race 5, and Latin Love Bug (No. 7, $9.10) in Race 6.
In Race 7, Holliday Bonus (No. 11) triggered the day's biggest upset at odds of 44-1. The David Cannizzo trainee returned $91.50 for a $2 win wager. In the card's penultimate race, the Grade 3, $200,000 Red Smith contested on the main track at 1 1/8 miles, Village King (No. 2, $11.80) nosed out Soglio at the wire to earn the victory.
Thefinalcrazydude (No. 4, $14.20) took the day's finale for trainer Bruce Brown and owners Michael Schrader and Paul O'Neil.
A consolation payout of $459.50 was awarded to bettors who had five of six winners.
Sunday's Pick 6 sequence will begin in Race 3 with a post-time of 1:47 p.m. ET. The sequence will be highlighted by the $125,000 New York Stallion Series Thunder Rumble for 3-year-olds and up going 7 furlongs in Race 7 featuring a field of eight.
