Double Pick 6 carryover of $61K Friday at the Big A

Horseplayers will be greeted with a two-day Pick 6 carryover of $61,264 on Friday's live racing program at Aqueduct Racetrack.


On Thursday, favorites carried three of the six legs of the Pick 6 as Analyze the Odds ($2.60) kicked off the sequence in race 3, followed by Tiznow's Smile in race 7 ($6.30), and Play Big in the day's finale in Race 8 ($8.30). 


Rockin' Alli captured Race 4 ($10.80) while Cournoyer opened things up in race 5 ($15.20) hitting the wire first ahead of 4-5 favorite Mo Focused, who bolted to the outside fence in the upper stretch before holding on for second. The longest shot of the day Compagno then followed in Race 6 ($23.80).


A consolation payout of $353 was awarded to bettors who had five of six winners.


The Pick 6 will begin with Race 3 on Friday, with a scheduled post time of 2:29 p.m. ET.


First post is at 1:20 p.m. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. at Aqueduct and 11:30 at Belmont Café.


Wagering on the Pick 6 is available through NYRA Bets, on-track, at Belmont Café, as well as simulcast facilities across the country.

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) and MSG Networks (NYSE: MSGN) announced today a multi-year extension of their long-standing agreement for MSGN's telecast of NYRA's thoroughbred racing programming, including NYRA's flagship 'Live' shows. With this agreement in place, MSG+ will continue to be the regional home for NYRA racing from Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course.
