by NYRA Press Office

Horseplayers will be greeted with a two-day Pick 6 carryover of $84,200 when Aqueduct Racetrack resumes live racing on Friday.

Jockey Kendrick Carmouche sent in the first two winners of the Pick 6 sequence on Monday's Monday's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day card, piloting Cotton Candy Cutie ($6.90) to victory in Race 4, followed by Green Gratto's ($7.30) gate-to-wire score in the day's feature race, the Grade 3 Toboggan.

Logical horses prevailed in the next two legs, with Saturday Bliss ($4.20) in Race 6 and Splendid Gold ($7.80) in Race 7, before the sequence was blown wide open when Legally Bay ($130) came home a winner at 64-1 in Race 8, an allowance optional-claimer, under Jackie Davis for trainer Marialice Coffey. The Pick 6 closed out with the day's final race, won by Maddizaskar ($11).

A consolation payout of $374.50 was awarded to bettors who had five of six winners.

The Pick 6 will begin with Race 4 on Friday, with a scheduled post time of 1:50 p.m. ET.

First post is at 12:20 p.m. Gates at Aqueduct and Belmont Café open at 11 a.m.

Wagering on the Pick 6 is available through NYRA Bets, on-track, and Belmont Café, as well as simulcast facilities across the country.
