FOX Sports Saturday At The Races returns Saturday with coverage of eight stakes

by NYRA Press Office

2 ½ hour national show to include races from Aqueduct, Santa Anita and Gulfstream

Highlighted by coverage and analysis of a pair of key Triple Crown prep races at Aqueduct Racetrack and Santa Anita Park, FOX Sports Saturday At The Races returns to the national airwaves on Saturday, March 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (ET) on FOX Sports 2 (FS2) featuring 2 ½ hours of coast-to-coast stakes coverage.

Saturday's program will be anchored by live coverage of the Grade 3, $300,000 Gotham, Race 10 at Aqueduct, and the Grade 2, $400,000 San Felipe, Race 6 at Santa Anita, each virtually guaranteeing the winners a chance to "Run for the Roses" on May 5 as part of the Kentucky Derby Championship Series, offering 50-20-10-5 qualifying points to the top four finishers.

At the Big A, the Gotham will feature Albaugh Family Stable's Free Drop Billy as trainer Dale Romans looks to win his second Derby prep in as many weeks following Promises Fulfilled's 18-1 upset of the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth last Saturday. The Grade 1 Breeders' Futurity winner ships to New York from Romans' winter base in Florida trying to follow the same road Romans and Albaugh Stable used last year with J Boys Echo, who used the Gotham to secure his entrance to the Derby.

Santa Anita's San Felipe is expected to present a highly anticipated match up between top Derby prospects McKinzie, from the Hall of Fame barn of Bob Baffert and exiting an impressive victory in the Grade 3 Sham, and two-time Grade 1 winner Bolt d'Oro, in his first appearance since finishing a scenic third in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile for owner-trainer Mick Ruis.

FOX Sports Saturday At the Races, presented by Claiborne Farm, will also include coverage of the Grade 3, $300,000 Tom Fool, the $150,000 Stymie and $150,000 Heavenly Prize Invitational from New York. Coverage from Santa Anita in California will also include the Grade 1, $400,000 Triple Bend and the Grade 1, $400,000 Frank E. Kilroe Mile, featuring Champion Turf Male World Approval, looking for his fifth straight graded stakes win dating back to the Grade 1 Fourstardave at Saratoga in August. Expanded coverage from Gulfstream Park will also include the $75,000 Captiva Island.

Hosted by Greg Wolf, FOX Sports Saturday At The Races includes commentary and analysis from a combination of FOX Sports, NYRA and XBTV personalities including Andy Serling, Maggie Wolfendale, Paul LoDuca and Michelle Yu.

The Cross Country Pick 4 will have a minimum bet of 50 cents and can be played through NYRA Bets, Xpressbet, ADW platforms, on-track, and at simulcast facilities across the country.
