The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has canceled live racing for Friday, March 2 at Aqueduct Racetrack due weather conditions associated with a powerful nor'easter currently impacting the New York City metropolitan area.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Friday, March 2, with current forecasts calling for sustained high winds throughout the day with damaging gusts up to 60 mph.
Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting and online wagering is available at NYRABets. The Belmont Café is closed today and will re-open tomorrow Saturday, March 3.
Live racing is scheduled to resume at Aqueduct on Saturday, March 3 with a first post of 1:20 p.m., featuring the $200,000 Busher for Kentucky Oaks hopefuls.
