The New York Racing Association today announced a continued partnership with Yonkers Raceway to offer horseplayers a unique thoroughbred/standardbred daily double wager on most Sundays through the end of the 2016 Aqueduct Fall Meet.
The New York, New York Double is hosted by NYRA and will be generally offered beginning with Race 3 at Aqueduct and concluding with the standardbred race at Yonkers within the closest post-time.
On Sunday, November 13, the New York, New York Double kicks off with Race 3 at Aqueduct and concludes in Race 5 at Yonkers Raceway, with approximate post times of 1:18 p.m. and 1:25 p.m., respectively.
Past performances for the relevant Yonkers standardbred race will be included in Aqueduct's Post Parade program, while PP's for the relevant third-race at Aqueduct will be included in Yonkers' harness program.
The New York, New York Double represents a continuation of the partnership between NYRA and Yonkers Raceway, and builds on the success of the special daily double offered on October 15 for the $1 Million International Trot and the Grade 3, $200,000 Belmont Futurity.
The New York, New York Double with a $1 minimum wager will be offered November 13, November 20, November 27, December 4 and December 18. It will be available to members of NYRA Bets and Empire City Bets and on-track horseplayers, as well as in simulcast facilities across the country.
