The debut episode of "Across the Board" features an extensive interview with New York racing icon Harvey Pack, who served over three decades as the host of NYRA television programs "Thoroughbred Action" and "Inside Racing." Now 90 and still active as a handicapper and gambler, Pack sat down for a nearly hour-long interview with Serling to look back on his career, provide his current thoughts of the state of racing and reflect on his time at the track.
"NYRA is always looking for new and exciting ways to connect with our fans," said Lynn LaRocca, NYRA Senior Vice President & Chief Experience Officer. "Across the Board" aligns perfectly with NYRA's efforts to expand our digital offerings for the benefit of New York racing fans."
Added Serling: "Our goal is to present the interesting stories and entertaining racetrack characters in a way that appeals to both avid horseplayers and new fans alike. We're lucky to have access to an incredibly diverse set of personalities, and I'm thrilled with the launch of "Across the Board."
Listeners can now subscribe to "Across the Board" through iTunes, SoundCloud and Google Play.
