Sunday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $72,394 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Saturday’s 11-race Grade 2 Wood Memorial presented by Resorts World Casino program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $583.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

The sequence began in Race 6 with the Chad Brown-trained Shidabhuti [No. 6, $19] upsetting the Grade 3, $175,000 Distaff off a nearly nine-month layoff with Dylan Davis in the irons. Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott scored the first of two wins on the card in Race 7, a one-mile second-level allowance, with the Jose Lezcano-piloted Bendoog [No. 7, $6.20*].

Race 8 saw the Val Brinkerhoff-trained Where’s My Ring [No. 1, $7.10*] graduate in style when shipping in from California to capture the Grade 3, $200,000 Gazelle and secure the maximum allotment of the 100-50-25-15-10 Kentucky Oaks qualifying points available to the top-five finishers. Jose Lezcano engineered the winning trip.

Brown scored his second win on the card as the Eric Cancel-piloted Reasoned Analysis [No. 6, $33] upset Race 9, the Listed $150,000 Bay Shore, with a strong rally from off the pace.

Race 10, the featured Grade 2, $750,000 Wood Memorial presented by Resorts World Casino, saw Resilience [No. 1, $11] relish the addition of blinkers to storm home a 2 1/4-length winner under Hall of Famer John Velazquez for Mott. The son of Into Mischief scored the maximum allotment of the 100-50-25-15-10 Kentucky Derby qualifying points available to the top-five finishers and punched his ticket to the First Saturday in May at Churchill Downs.

With just one horse covered in the final leg, Davis notched his fourth win on the card aboard the Christophe Clement-trained Peony [No. 1, $5.90] in Race 11, a six-furlong maiden for New York-bred sophomore fillies, to trigger the carryover.

Sunday’s Pick 6 begins in Race 3 at 2:23 p.m. Eastern. First post on the eight-race card is 1:20 p.m.
