The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has cancelled the remaining four races on Saturday’s nine-race card following Race 5 due to heavy fog that has settled into the New York City area, resulting in visibility concerns at Aqueduct Racetrack.
Per New York State Gaming Commission rules, today’s Pick 6 wagering pool, which featured a carryover of $22,611, will be refunded. The wager and carryover will return on Sunday, January 1 with a mandatory payout. Sunday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 4 with a post time of 1:47 p.m.
Saturday’s featured event, the $150,000 Queens County, will be brought back on Saturday, January 7.
