The $1 million Caesars Jockey Club Derby, established in 2019, is the concluding leg of the Turf Triple series that is contested at distances matching the dirt Triple Crown races. Like the Belmont Stakes, its main-track counterpart, the Jockey Club Derby is contested at 1 ½ miles. The winner will earn an automatic berth to the Breeders’ Cup Turf in November.
