Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin is the latest guest on Across the Board with Andy Serling, presented by the New York Racing Association, now available for download.
McLaughlin joined Serling at Belmont Park on October 26 to discuss a host of topics, including the success of graded stakes winner Takaful, who he trains for Shadwell Stable and will compete in next Saturday's Grade 1, $1.5 million Breeders' Cup Sprint on November 4 at Del Mar.
The conversation also touches on McLaughlin's introduction to thoroughbred racing, working as an assistant to Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas, and his brief time spent as a jockey agent for Hall of Famer Chris Antley, before heading to Dubai to become a trainer for Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. As well, training at historic Greentree Stable Training Center, the private training facility for Godolphin Stable at Saratoga.
