Belmont and Keeneland announce Cross Country Pick 4 on October 7

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) announced today its latest Cross Country Pick 4 partnership, teaming up Belmont Park with Keeneland Racecourse on Saturday, October 7. The multi-race wager will include four Grade 1s: the $750,000 Jockey Club Gold Cup and $500,000 Champagne at Belmont Park and the $500,000 Breeders' Futurity and $1 million Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland.
The sequence starts with the Champagne as Race 8 with an approximate post time of 4:13 p.m ET and will be followed by the Breeders' Futurity (Race 8 at 5:10), the Jockey Club Gold Cup (Race 10 at 5:23) and the Shadwell Turf Mile (Race 9 at 5:45). All four are Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" races, earning the victor automatic entry to the respective races and fees-paid trips to Del Mar Thoroughbred Club for the Breeders' Cup on November 3 and 4.
As part of its Breeders' Cup Challenge Series, NBC will broadcast racing from Belmont Park and Keeneland live from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring the Breeders' Futurity, Jockey Club Gold Cup, and the Shadwell Mile.
Keeneland Racecourse will host the wager, which will have their standard takeout rate of 22 percent and a minimum wager of 50-cents. The wager will be listed as Belmont-Keeneland Pick 4 at terminals and on ADW platforms.
