Belmont Park Live to air G2 Delaware Handicap and G3 Kent on Saturday

NYRA and Delaware Park partner to offer Cross Country Pick 4

The New York Racing Association (NYRA), announced today that Belmont Park Live will provide coverage and analysis of the Grade 2, $750,000 Delaware Handicap and the Grade 3, $200,000 Kent Stakes, both on Saturday from Delaware Park.

In addition, Saturday will welcome the return of the Cross Country Pick 4. The multi-race wager, hosted by NYRA and featuring a 50-cent minimum, will begin with the Grade 3 Kent, carded as Race 8 from Delaware Park with a scheduled post time of 4:56 ET, followed by Race 8 from Belmont Park. The third leg is the Grade 2 Delaware Handicap, Race 9 from Delaware Park, followed by the Forbidden Apple, off as Race 9 at Belmont Park.

In the Grade 2 Delaware Handicap, scheduled as Race 9 with a 5:35 p.m. post time, 4-year-old multiple graded stakes winner Elate is scheduled to make her first start since finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Distaff last November.

Hosted by Greg Wolf with racing analysis from Maggie Wolfendale and Paul Lo Duca, Belmont Park Live will air Saturday from 4-6 p.m. ET on MSG+ in the New York metropolitan market and on regional sports networks across the country, including: FOX Sports Prime Ticket, FOX Sports San Diego, and the Altitude Sports Network. 

Gabby Gaudet will provide on-site updates from Delaware Park throughout the telecast.

With Belmont Park's spring/summer meet concluding Sunday, July 15, world-class racing action will move north to historic Saratoga Race Course. "Saratoga Live," NYRA's flagship TV show presented by Claiborne Farm, will kick off 40 days of live coverage on July 20. The show will be available nationally through FS2 and regionally through MSG+, FOX Sports Prime Ticket, FOX Sports San Diego, and the Altitude Sports Network. 

The 2018 meet at historic Saratoga Race Course, which includes 69 stakes worth $18.8 million in purses, will run from Friday, July 20, through Labor Day, September 3. After opening weekend, racing will be conducted six days a week, Wednesdays through Mondays.
