Double Pick 6 carryover of $82K Thursday at Belmont

There will be a two-day Pick 6 carryover of $82,226 greeting horseplayers when live racing resumes Thursday at Belmont Park.

Wednesday's sequence got underway with Akron Gold (No. 1), the 8-1 winner of Race 4, and proved uncatchable in Race 9 when Bourbon Empire (No. 7) rolled home in the day's nightcap at 20-1.

A consolation payout of $978 was awarded to bettors who had five of six winners.

Thursday's Pick 6 will begin with Race 4, which has a scheduled post time of 2:34 p.m. First post is at 12:55 p.m.

Wagering on the Pick 6 is available through NYRA Bets, on-track, Aqueduct Racetrack and simulcast facilities across the country.
