NYRA partners with Parx to offer Cross Country Pick 4 on Saturday

G1 Pennsylvania Derby headlines Saturday's inter-track wager

Belmont Park Live to provide coverage, analysis of each leg

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will team up with Parx Racing on Saturday, September 22, to offer a Cross Country Pick 4 highlighted by the Grade 1, $1 million Pennsylvania Derby. The latest in NYRA's fall series of Cross Country Pick 4s, Saturday's edition will include three graded stakes between Belmont Park and Parx, with Belmont Park Live to provide coverage and analysis of each race on MSG+. 

The multi-race wager, hosted by NYRA and featuring a 50-cent minimum, will start with an allowance race for 3-year-olds and up at Belmont going seven furlongs, carded as Race 7, at 4:46 p.m. ET, followed by Race 10 from Parx, the Grade 1, $1 million Cotillion with a scheduled post time of 4:55 p.m. The third leg of the Pick 4 sequence is the Grade 2, $300,000 Kelso Handicap carded as Race 8 from Belmont with an approximate post time of 5:18 p.m. The Grade 1 Pennsylvania Derby will be the anchor leg of Saturday's Cross Country Pick 4 as Race 11 from Parx with an approximate post time of 5:45 p.m. 

The premier race for 3-year-olds in the fall, the Pennsylvania Derby will feature a talented field, including Hofburg for Juddmonte Farms and Hall of Fame conditioner Bill Mott, who will make his first start since winning the Curlin this summer at Saratoga Race Course. Other contenders include McKinzie for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert, Instilled Regard for trainer Chad Brown, and Bravazo for Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lukas among the 10-horse field. 

The Grade 1 Cotillon for 3-year-old-filles will see the return of four-time Grade 1 winner Monomoy Girl looking for her sixth consecutive graded stakes victory. Also entered are multiple graded stakes winners Midnight Bisou and Wonder Gadot in the field of eight.

In the 34th running of the one-mile Kelso Handicap, trainer Chad Brown will send out a pair of formidable contenders in Timeline and Patternrecognition. Looking to rebound form a subpar finish in the Grade 1 Woodward is Sunny Ridge for owner Dennis Drazin and trainer Jason Servis while shipping in from California for Hall of Fame conditioner Jerry Hollendorfer is Battle of Midway. Realm for trainer Barclay Tagg, Lael Stable's No Dozing for trainer Arnaud Delacour and Still Having Fun for Wachtel Stable and trainer Tim keefe round out the seven horse field.

Hosted by Mike Curci with racing analysis from Paul Lo Duca and Anthony Stabile, Belmont Park Live will air Saturday from 4-6 p.m. ET on MSG+ in the New York metropolitan market. Belmont Park Live can also be found on NYRA Now, the official video streaming application of NYRA. 

NYRA's fall Cross Country Pick 4 series will continue on Saturday, October 7 with a special Trans-Atlantic Pick 4 with Longchamp featuring the Group 1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the Group 1 Prix de l'Opera Longines.
