Stakes winners look for return to glory in Allied Forces

A field of six stakes winners comprise a talented group of 3-year-olds in Sunday's $100,000 Allied Forces at Belmont Park.

Two entrants have won graded stakes and will seek class relief in the six-furlong sprint on the turf. The Allied Forces is one of 42 stakes on the Belmont Fall Meet docket, which runs from September 9 through October 30.

Too Discreet, trained by Christophe Clement, is one of two starters who has won multiple stakes. The Patricia Generazio-owned colt won the Paradise Creek on May 28 at Belmont and registered a career-high 92 Beyer Speed Figure last out with a third-place finish in the Quick Call on August 4 at Saratoga Race Course.

Too Discreet will leave from post 5 with Joel Rosario, who has piloted him to all of his career wins in going 3-0-1 in five starts, including victories in races ranging from 5 ½-to-7 furlongs.

"He's doing well after finishing third last time," Clement said. "He came back a little bit distressed from the heat. The good news is the heat should break this weekend. I've always liked this horse; he's always trained well. Joel knows him well and we're excited to go.

"The distance should be fine," he added. "He's a fast horse, so it shouldn't be a problem."

Front Pocket Money will be making his first start since winning the Grade 3 Jersey Shore on July 23 at Monmouth. Saddled by Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen, Front Pocket Money enters having won three of his last four starts.

The bay gelding is 1-1 in two career turf starts, which were both at Churchill Downs. He will depart from post 3 with Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez in the irons. 

Rated R Superstar, trained by Kenneth McPeek, will be making his turf debut coming off a 10th-place finish in the Grade 1 King's Bishop on August 27. The chestnut gelding, owned by Radar Racing, won the Grade 3 Carry Back on July 2 at Gulfstream Park.

A 2015 Breeders' Cup Juvenile participant, Rated R Superstar has finished in the money in two additional graded stakes, coming in second in the Grade 3 Iroquois and third in the Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity. He will exit post 2 in tandem with Luis Saez.

Conquest Enforcer is 3-0-1 in five career starts with his only off-the-board finish coming in his debut in the Grade 2 Summer in September 2015 in which he came in fourth.

Trained by Mark Casse, Conquest Enforcer won the seven-furlong Queenston by 7 ¾ lengths on May 21 before also winning the Charlie Barley on July 3.

Conquest Enforcer will be making his first career start away from Woodbine and is coming off a third-place finish, in which he finished just one length off winning Glenville Gardens, in the Grade 2 Play The King on August 20. He drew the outside with Javier Castellano aboard.

Bust Another will be looking for his first win since the Mike Lee on May 30 at Belmont Park. Trained by Michael Pino, Bust Another will be making his fourth consecutive start against stakes company and is seeking his first career turf win after finishing second in the New York Stallion Series on June 26 and sixth in the Quick Call on August 4 at Saratoga Race Course.

Bust Another will leave from the rail with Eric Cancel aboard.

Completing the lineup is Don't Be So Salty, who is seeking his first win since November 2015. He drew post 4 in returning to stakes company after a second-place finish in a claiming race on August 31 at Saratoga. Manny Franco rides.
