A: Upon download of the App, you will be prompted to allow or decline to

For iOS:
Tap the Settings icon. Then navigate to Notification Center, and scroll down to the app you'd like to change the notifications for. In this screen, you can choose the "Alert Style," which can be "None", "Banners", or "Alerts". Banners will appear at the top of the screen, while alerts pop up as a dialog box in the middle of the screen. Below those options, you'll find on/off switches for a few more things. You can choose whether or not you'd like a badge displaying the number of unread notifications on the app's home screen icon, if you'd like a sound to play, and whether or not you want the alert to appear in Notification Center. In order to completely disable notifications for that app, all of these options must be turned off.
Android
Go into Settings, then tap on "Apps". Tap on the app that you would like to disable notifications for, and then uncheck the "Show notifications" box. Android will display a warning that you won't receive alerts from this app. Tap "OK" to continue.
