All six Grade 1 races on Travers Day to be broadcast nationwide

All six Grade 1 stakes on the Travers Day card at Saratoga Race Course will be broadcast to a national audience from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 26. 

FS2 will broadcast a special edition of Saratoga Live from 2 to 4:30 p.m. while NBC's live coverage will get underway at 4:30 p.m.

Saratoga Live will begin its broadcast at 2 p.m. with coverage on FS2, FOX Sports Prime Ticket, FOX Sports San Diego, FOX Sports Ohio, MSG+, and from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Altitude Sports. 

NBC will headline the coverage with the 148th running of the Grade 1, $1.25 million Travers, presented by NYRA Bets, during its live broadcast from 4:30 to 6 p.m. 

The Travers field will be led by Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming, Preakness winner Cloud Computing, and Belmont Stakes winner Tapwrit, which will mark the first time since 1982 that the individual winners of all three Triple Crown races will meet in the Travers. Post time for the Travers is 5:44 p.m. 

The NBC broadcast will also include the $1 million Sword Dancer Invitational, featuring top European-shipper Idaho, winner of the Hardwick at Royal Ascot in June.

Saturday's edition of Saratoga Live will be highlighted by the Grade 1, $700,000 Personal Ensign, featuring champion filly Songbird who has amassed a career record of 13 wins and one second place finish in 14 starts. 

Saratoga Live coverage will also include the Grade 1, $500,000 Ketel One Ballerina, featuring top female sprinter Paulassilverlining; the Grade 1, $500,000 H. Allen Jerkens Memorial, pitting 3-year-old sprinters American Anthem and Practical Joke against each other in a deep field of nine; and the Grade 1, $600,000 Forego, a battle of east versus west as New York-bred Mind Your Biscuits and California-shipper Drefong headline a field of 10 in the seven-furlong sprint.
