Pick 6 carryover of $43K into Thursday's card at Saratoga

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Thursday's Pick 6 will be boosted by a $43,783 carryover, as the multi-race wager went unsolved on Wednesday at Saratoga Race Course.

Wednesday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off with 31-1 longshot Frammento (No. 3, $65) winning a third-level optional claiming allowance event contested on the main track with Joey Martinez up for Hall of Fame conditioner Nick Zito. In Race 6, 2-1 second-choice Another Miracle (No. 1, $6.70) wired the field for jockey Manny Franco and trainer Gary Contessa.

In the third leg, the New York Stallion Stakes Series Cab Calloway Division for 3-year-olds on the inner turf, Rinaldi (No. 3, $8.10) won impressively by 4 ¼ lengths for owner and trainer H. James Bond, besting 9-5 post-time favorite Funny Guy.

In Race 8, the Grade 2, $200,000 Honorable Miss for fillies and mares 3-years-old and upward going six furlongs on the dirt, 20-1 longshot Minit to Stardom (No. 5, $43.40) wired the six-horse field with Alex Cintron in the irons to earn her first graded stakes victory for winning owner Brittlyn Stable and conditioner Jose Camejo.

In the penultimate leg, Pastime, (No. 1, $13.60) with Hall of Fame rider Javier Castellano aboard, won an allowance optional-claiming race for trainer Victoria Oliver.

In Race 10, post-time favorite Risky Mandate (No. 3, $6.10) passed Fair Regis, the lone horse covered in the Pick 6, late in the lane to earn the victory for trainer Tom Amoss and jockey Jose Ortiz.

Five of six winners returned $2,432.

Thursday's Pick 6 sequence at Saratoga will get underway in Race 6 with a post time of 3:32 p.m. ET. Wagering on the Pick 6 is available through NYRA Bets, on-track, and at simulcast facilities across the country.
