Pick 6 carryover of $47k at Saratoga Race Course set for Thursday

The Pick 6 sequence went unsolved on Wednesday at Saratoga Race Course, triggering a carryover of $47,121 heading into Thursday's card at the Spa.

Wednesday's sequence started with Shesasuperfreak (No. 8) returning $27.20 on a $2 win bet in Race 5, followed by 9-year-old Turco Bravo (No. 6, $7.10) earning his first trip to the winner's circle since 2016 in Race 6. Civil Union (No. 7) paid $10.60 in winning Race 7.

Jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. capped the 10-race card with wins in the last three races, starting with Still Krz (No. 2, $5.10) in Race 8. In the next race, Stillwater Cove (No. 8) rallied to win the $100,000 Bolton Landing over 5 ½ furlongs on the Mellon turf, returning $22.40. Ortiz notched the last of his troika of wins in the finale, guiding Overnight Success (No. 10, $11.60) to a win on the inner turf.

A consolation payout of $1,121 was awarded to bettors who has five of six winners.

Thursday's Pick 6 sequence will begin with Race 4 with a scheduled post time of 2:51 p.m. ET. The nine-race card has a first post time of 1 p.m.
