Aqueduct cancels live racing Sunday, Pick-6 Carryover for Wednesday, simulcasting available

by NYRA Press Office

Due to extremely high winds in the New York Metropolitan area, the New York Racing Association has cancelled today’s live racing card at Aqueduct Racetrack to ensure the safety of all participants.

The National Weather Service is forecasting sustained high winds throughout the day, with occasional gusts between 40-50 mph.

Today's featured stakes races, the $100,000 Key Cents and $125,000 Thunder Rumble will be rescheduled for a later date. The three day $101,393 Pick-6 carryover will move into Wednesday’s card.

Simulcasting will remain available at Aqueduct Racetrack and Belmont Café. Online wagering is also available at NYRA.com.

Live racing is scheduled to resume on Wednesday, November 23, with a first post of 12:20 p.m.
