• Bus: Belmont Park is accessible by three bus lines: MTA Q82 and Q2 and NICE Bus N6 line. See MTA schedule and NICE bus schedule.
• Parking: Know your assigned parking lot and corresponding Cross Island Parkway Exit before driving to Belmont Park.

  • Emerald Lot: Take Cross Island Parkway Exit 26D. Please note that Exit 26B leads you to the Gold & Silver Parking Lots, not the Emerald Lot.

  • Gold, Silver, Bronze, Platinum, Ruby Lots: take Cross Island Parkway Exit 26B. Enter through Gate 5 off of Hempstead Turnpike.

IMPORTANT FOR 9/18: Parking will not be available for purchase on-site on September 18. All guests driving to Belmont Park must have a valid digital parking pass prior to arrival.

Access the complimentary parking pass included with your digital tickets. Downloading your tickets and parking pass to your mobile device ahead of time is highly encouraged so they are ready to scan upon arrival.

A valid digital parking pass is required for all vehicles entering Belmont Park parking lots. Parking passes will not be sold or distributed on-site. Guests should download their parking pass in advance and have it ready to display upon arrival.

‘Belmont Park’ is a free network with no password required.

• Door & gate opening times for Belmont Park will vary according to each event. For typical racing days, doors will open 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of Race 1. Please refer to specific details for major event days.
• During the rest of Opening Weekend, gates open on Saturday at 10:30am and on Sunday at 11:00am.
• Parking lots open 60 minutes before gates open. Please refer to NewBelmont.com for individual race day timings.

Prohibited Items include:

• Weapons

• Illegal & Controlled substances

• Backpacks and bags that exceed 16” x 8” x 16” in size

• Hard-sided bags, cases, or containers of any kind

• Glass containers of any kind, including bottles and jars

• Coolers or ice chests

• Personal grills or smokers

• Folding chairs

• Professional cameras with detachable lenses, lenses exceeding 5”, external flash units, monopods, bipods, or tripods, unless accompanied by a valid NYRA media credential

• Video recording equipment and audio recording devices intended for commercial or broadcast use without NYRA media credentials

• Drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and remote-operated aircraft of any kind

• Laser pointers and laser devices of any kind

• Selfie sticks and extendable poles

• Signs, banners, and flags of any size

• Pets and non-service animals of any kind (only ADA-defined service animals are permitted on Belmont Park property)

• Noisemakers, air horns, whistles, radios, speakers, and similar

Security personnel have the authority to inspect any bag, package, or personal item at any point of entry or within Belmont Park. There is no storage for prohibited items. Guests who are unable or unwilling to remove prohibited items from the property may be denied entry without refund.

Folding chairs are prohibited from being brought into the grounds of Belmont Park.

Personal bags are allowed in if they are 16" x 8" x 16" or smaller.

Belmont Park celebrates the traditions of horse racing, including the time-honored custom of dressing for the races. Guests are invited to embrace the occasion and express their personal style in a manner that reflects the elegance and spirit of the sport. NYRA has established dress code guidelines for each area of the venue to ensure that all guests enjoy an experience appropriate to the setting.

General Admission – Ground Floor

Belmont Park's General Admission areas welcome guests in casual to smart casual attire. While no formal dress code is enforced, neat and appropriate attire is expected and encouraged.

• Sundresses, skirts, and dressy separates
• Chinos, shorts, and collared shirts
• Clean, neat footwear
• Hats, fascinators, and creative race day headwear of all kinds

NOT PERMITTED:

• Clothing with offensive, indecent, or inappropriate language or imagery
• Clothing displaying political statements or imagery. NYRA reserves the right to determine what constitutes a political statement in this context and will consult with legal counsel regarding specific enforcement guidelines
• Shirts and shoes are required at all times

Premium Areas & Dining

Belmont Park's Dining & Premium areas on the second floor offer an elevated race day experience. A polished yet relaxed dress code is recommended for all guests in these areas, reflecting the sophistication of the setting while remaining accessible and comfortable.

Recommended for Women:

• Dresses, skirts, or elegant separates
• Pantsuits and dress trousers
• Blouses, polo shirts, and smart tops
• Dressy flats, heels, wedges, or clean smart footwear
• Hats and fascinators strongly encouraged

Recommended for Men:

• Collared shirts including polo shirts, button-downs, and dress shirts
• Dress trousers, slacks, dress jeans, or khaki shorts
• Blazers, sport coats, and vests are optional but encouraged
• Closed-toe shoes required. Dress shoes, loafers, clean smart sneakers acceptable

Not Permitted in Dining & Premium Areas

• Graphic tees
• Cargo shorts
• Frayed, torn, or distressed denim
• Athletic wear of any kind including tracksuits, sports shorts, and athletic footwear
• Flip-flops and open-toed shoes for men
• Clothing with offensive, indecent, or inappropriate language or imagery
• Clothing displaying political statements or imagery

NYRA reserves the right to deny entry to or remove any guest whose attire does not meet the standards outlined in this policy or is otherwise deemed inappropriate at NYRA's sole discretion. NYRA staff will address dress code concerns as early in the guest journey as possible, including at entry gates, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.

Most services at Belmont Park are cashless, including concessions, ticketing, merchandise, programs and parking. There are ATMs and reverse ATMs onsite to assist those wishing to use cash.

Guests planning to place wagers may wish to bring cash, as credit cards cannot be used for on-track wagering.

Opening Weekend tickets for Saturday, September 19 & Sunday September 20, as well as the rest of the fall meet, remain available.

If you have lost an item during your visit, please report it to the nearest Guest Services Representative.

Belmont Park provides ADA-accessible seating throughout all ticketed areas. Companion seats are available adjacent to all accessible seating locations. To reserve accessible seating, please visit the Ticketmaster Box Office located at the East Entry upon arrival or select accessible seating options during ticket purchase.

Guests requiring ticketing assistance due to disability or special need are encouraged to contact NYRA Guest Services in advance of their visit.

• First Aid Stations: Medical personnel staff multiple first aid stations throughout the facility.

• Defibrillator Availability: Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are located at all first aid stations and key points across the venue.

• Emergency Response: If a medical emergency occurs, immediately alert the nearest venue staff member or security officer.
