NYRA Students of Thoroughbreds and Racing (STAR) is an all-new youth program designed to give kids insider access to the incredible world of thoroughbred racing!

Through NYRA STAR, children 12 & under (and their families) are able to experience the sport through exclusive on-track events, educational opportunities, and kid-friendly communications to ignite their interest in horses and racing.

Membership is FREE! New members will receive:

Personalized membership card & lanyard
Paddock tour and Winner's Circle experience (Limit one per member)
Keepsake collectible jockey buttons each week visiting the track
Exclusive kid-friendly digital communications
Invitation to a year-end party

Limited-Edition Jockey Buttons

Get to know the faces of New York racing with these special buttons! These keepsakes feature a different fan-favorite jockey each week. Present your NYRA STAR badge at the booth on Saturdays & Sundays to check in and collect the weekly button (limit one per member per week).

Child with NYRA STAR membership card must be present to receive the giveaway. Available while supplies last.
