Each summer, Saratoga Race Course offers several daily and weekly experiences including breakfast, tours, and more!
Tours & Experiences do not include track admission, unless otherwise noted.
Breakfast and Thoroughbred Farm Tour
New for 2026: Introducing new participating farms, including leading aftercare organizations! The new programming reflects an expanded focus on the full lifecycle of the Thoroughbred, from breeding and stallions to retirement and aftercare.

Each ticket includes a buffet breakfast during morning training at Saratoga, a round-trip trolley ride from the track to the day's designated farm, a guided walking tour of the farm, and same-day admission to Saratoga Race Course.

Backstretch Golf Cart Tour
On this exclusive private tour, your group will step behind the scenes of Saratoga! Get up close as the equine athletes and their teams of trainers, riders, and grooms go about their daily routines. Our knowledgeable guides will answer your questions about life on the backstretch. This is a paid experience.
NOTE: Tours are offered 4th of July weekend!

Paddock Tour
Feel the excitement up close as the equine athletes are saddled and prepared before they hit the track! Led by knowledgeable guides, you’ll learn about the intricacies of horse care and pre-race rituals that set the stage for the action.

Walking Tour
Ever wonder why we ring a bell at 17 minutes to post, or why there is a canoe in the infield lake? Take a guided tour to find out!
Tours begin at the 1st floor of the grandstand near the escalators, and depart every half hour from 9:00am - 3:30pm nearly every race day.
NOTE: Tours are not offered during the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival or 4th of July weekend.

Name a Race
Name a race in your group’s honor! Your race name will be printed in the race day program. You will receive a win photo, plus five copies of the program.
Note: Named races do not include a race viewing in the Winner’s Circle or commemorative picture frame.

Infield Video Board Message
Wish your friend “Happy Birthday”, tell your loved one “Happy Anniversary”, or simply welcome your group with a message that will rotate on the infield board following the 3rd and 6th races.

Backstretch Tram Tour
Each ticket also includes a backstretch tram tour, driven by the CDTA (weather permitting). Stable-area trams depart every 25-30 minutes from 7:30am-9:00am. The tram takes guests to the backstretch, where they unload and continue on foot. Paid admission for Breakfast at Saratoga are not required to attend the Backstretch Tram Tour.
