2025 Aqueduct fall meet to feature 28 stakes worth $6.025 million

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced the stakes schedule for the 2025 fall meet at Aqueduct Racetrack, which will offer 28 stakes, 10 of them graded events, worth a total of $6.025 million.
Following the conclusion of Belmont at the Big A fall meet which spans Thursday, September 11 through Sunday, November 2, the 27-day Aqueduct fall meet will run from Thursday, November 6 through Wednesday, December 31.
The Aqueduct fall meet will be highlighted by the Grade 2, $500,000 Cigar Mile for 3-year-olds and upward on Saturday, December 6.
The lucrative Cigar Mile Day program co-features the Grade 2, $250,000 Remsen for 2-year-olds going nine furlongs as well as the nine-furlong Grade 2, $250,000 Demoiselle for juvenile fillies. Also slated for the card is the Grade 3, $250,000 Elite Power at six furlongs for 3-years-old and up previously offered as the Runhappy during the Belmont at the Big A spring meet. The stacked program also showcases the New York Stallion Stakes Series with a pair of $500,000 stakes for juveniles that will see eligible New York-sired fillies contest the NYSSS Fifth Avenue at seven furlongs, alongside the NYSSS Great White Way going the same distance.
Cigar Mile Weekend closes out Sunday, December 7 with the Grade 3, $200,000 Comely at nine-furlongs for sophomore fillies and the six-furlong $150,000 Garland of Roses for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.
The stakes action begins on Thursday, November 6 with the Listed $150,000 Chelsey Flower at 1 1/16-miles on turf for 2-year-old fillies to kick off a weekend that includes the Listed $150,000 Central Park at 1 1/16-miles on turf for 2-year-olds and the $150,000 Stewart Manor at six furlongs on turf for juvenile fillies on Friday, November 7.
Saturday, November 8 will feature four stakes led by the Grade 2, $300,000 Mother Goose at nine-furlongs for sophomore fillies, the Grade 3, $250,000 Long Island at 11 furlongs on turf for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up, the Grade 3, $200,000 Hill Prince at nine furlongs on turf for sophomores and the Listed $200,000 Dwyer traveling a one-turn mile for sophomores, which was previously held during the Belmont at the Big A spring meet.
The packed weekend concludes Sunday, November 9 with the $150,000 Awad, a six-furlong turf sprint for juveniles previously run at 1 1/16-miles.
New York-bred 2-year-olds will feature on Thursday, November 13 in the $125,000 Key Cents at one-mile on turf for fillies and on Friday, November 14 in the $125,000 Notebook at one-mile on turf. Both the Key Cents and Notebook were previously run at six furlongs on the main track.
The Grade 3, $350,000 Jockey Club Oaks at 11-furlongs on turf for sophomore fillies highlights a Saturday, November 15 program that includes the Listed $150,000 Knickerbocker, a nine-furlong turf route for 3-year-olds and up.
Two more turf stakes adorn the Sunday, November 16 card with the Grade 3, $175,000 Pebbles at one-mile for sophomore fillies and the $150,000 Forever Together at 1 1/16-miles for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.
The NYSSS returns on Saturday, November 22 with a pair of $125,000 seven-furlong sprints in the Thunder Rumble for 3-year-olds and up and the Staten Island for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.
Saturday, December 13 offers the Listed $150,000 Go for Wand, a one-turn mile for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.
Closing Weekend of the Aqueduct fall meet begins with the one-mile $125,000 Alex M. Robb for state-breds 3-year-old and up on Friday, December 26 and continues with the Listed $150,000 Queens County at nine-furlongs for 3-years-old and up. The Closing Day card on Sunday, December 28 is headlined by the $125,000 Bay Ridge, a one-turn mile for state-bred fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.
