Belmont Stakes Festival Pick 6 offered on stakes races Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8

Special wager features 15 percent takeout and mandatory payout

A special two-day Pick 6 wager, with a $0.20 base minimum and featuring six graded stakes races, culminating with the Grade 1, $1.5 million Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA bets, will be offered by the New York Racing Association (NYRA) this Friday, June 7.

The Belmont Stakes Festival Pick 6, with a low 15 percent takeout and mandatory payout, begins with the Grade 2, $250,000 True North and the Grade 2, $400,000 Belmont Gold Cup Invitational on Friday and continues Saturday with the Grade 1, $400,000 Woody Stephens presented by Mohegan Sun, the Grade 1, $1.2 million Runhappy Metropolitan Handicap, the Grade 1, $1 million Manhattan and concludes with the 151st running of the Belmont Stakes, the "Test of the Champion."

Now in its fifth year as a three-day event, the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will take place at beautiful Belmont Park from Thursday, June 6 through Saturday and will include 18 stakes races including an unprecedented eight Grade 1 races on Belmont Stakes Day, June 8.

Full advance wagering for the Belmont Stakes Day card will be available on Friday, June 7.

A number of rich, multi-race wagers will be available on the wagering menu for both Friday and Saturday.

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced adjustments to weekday post times for the portion of the upcoming fall meet that will be run at Belmont Park. Beginning on Friday, September 6, weekday live racing will feature a first post time of 3 p.m. to ensure the continuity of racing operations in light of the construction of a new arena at Belmont Park for the National Hockey League's New York Islanders.
