Expanded edition of America's Day at the Races to provide live coverage of Pennsylvania Derby Day

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) announced today that, in addition to full card coverage of Belmont Park and Churchill Downs, Saturday’s edition of America's Day at the Races on FOX Sports will provide live coverage and on-site analysis of six stakes from Parx Racing, including the Grade 1, $1 million Pennsylvania Derby.
Produced by NYRA in partnership with FOX Sports, America's Day at the Races airs nationwide on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on FS2. Regional coverage can be found on SNY from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Two of the nation’s top 3-year-olds, Hot Rod Charlie and Midnight Bourbon, are set to square off in the Pennsylvania Derby with a scheduled post time of 5:49 p.m.
In addition to the Pennsylvania Derby, America’s Day at the Races will air five additional stakes from Parx including the $200,000 Parx Dirt Mile (2:53 p.m.); the $300,000, Grade 3 Greenwood Cup (3:22 p.m.); the $300,000, Grade 3 Turf Monster (3:53 p.m.); the $300,000 Gallant Bob (4:24 p.m.); and the $1 million, Grade 1 Cotillion (5:04 p.m.)
At Belmont Park, Saturday’s 11-race card is highlighted by the Grade 2, $300,000 Kelso Handicap (2:36 p.m.); and the Grade 3, $200,000 Athenia (5:58 p.m.)
