Pick 6 carryover of $38K on Sunday at Belmont Park

Sunday’s card at Belmont Park will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $38,016 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Saturday’s 11-race card.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $92.25 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

The sequence kicked off in Race 6 as Jose Ortiz, who won four races on the card, guided the Michael Dini-trained I’m Nervous Now [No. 11, $9.20] to victory in an off-the-turf claiming sprint for fillies and mares.

Freudmein [No. 4, $7.70*] graduated as the tepid choice in Race 7, capturing a seven-furlong sprint for state-breds 3-years-old and up under Eric Cancel for conditioner Chris Englehart. Beguine [No. 2, $3.90*] made it consecutive favorites in Race 8, sprinting to victory over an allowance field of fillies and mares with Dylan Davis up for trainer Edward Allard. The Bruce Levine-trained Bustin Lulu [No. 5, $5.90*] completed a hat trick of mutuel favorites in Race 9, staving off Carbon to win a starter allowance for 3-year-olds and up for jockey Kendrick Carmouche.

Secret Rules [No. 12, $10.40] splashed to victory in Race 10 under Jaime Torres for trainer Robert Falcone, Jr. in an off-the-turf optional-claiming sprint for 3-year-olds and up.

With only one horse uncovered in the Race 11 finale, a one-turn mile maiden special weight for 3-year-olds and up, Mistical Curlin [No. 8, $25.40] obliged as the largest price in the sequence. Jose Lezcano engineered the prominent score for trainer Gustavo Rodriguez.

Sunday’s Pick 6 will kick off in Race 4 at 2:32 p.m. Eastern. First post on the nine-race card is 1 p.m. Eastern.
